At Think Academy, we provide full cycle service to foster local children’s ability to think critically, to strengthen their logic skills, and to help them fulfill their goals through innovative teaching techniques. We believe Love and Technology can make education better. More than 400 students are enrolled in Think Academy Irvine classes. Whom we are looking for: Think Academy Irvine is looking for Full-Time Onsite Math Content Teacher. Content Teachers are expected to understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, Deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explaining concepts, demonstrating problem-solving techniques, and using various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. What You Will Do: Part I – AMC Competition Coach <ul> <li class="">Teach 2–3 AMC competition classes (approximately 5-7.5hrs)per week</li> <li class="">Design year-round AMC preparation plans</li> <li class="">Develop problem sets, mock exams, and training materials</li> <li class="">Track student progress and competition readiness</li> <li class="">Contribute to consistent, measurable AMC outcomes at the campus level</li> </ul> Part II – Middle School Academic Lead (Grades 6–8) <ul> <li class="">Design and refine the middle school math academic pathway</li> <li class="">Ensure alignment between: </li> <ul> <li class="">Regular middle school math courses</li> <li class="">Advanced tracks</li> <li class="">AMC competition preparation</li> </ul> <li class="">Provide academic guidance and content support to middle school teachers</li> <li class="">Participate in academic diagnostics for middle school students </li> <li class="">Serve as an academic authority in parent-facing academic discussions when needed</li> </ul> How You Can Be Qualified: <ul> <li class="">Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors are welcome as long as you're passionate in kids and math teaching; Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred </li> <ul> <li class="">You are still eligible to apply if you are still pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree</li> </ul> <li class="">Prior math teaching experiences is not required, but a big plus</li> <li class=""><span data-docs-delta="[[20,"Strong personal background in math competitions","27:\"9\"|31:12|inline-dir:\"ltr\""],[20,{"inline-break":true},"27:\"9\"|31:12"],[20," (AMC / AIME / national or regional awards)","27:\"9\"|31:12"],[20,"\n","24:\"bYIe\"|27:\"9\"|bullet-id:\"LjWl\"|bullet:\"circle\"|direction:\"ltr\""]]" data-copy-origin="https://yach-doc-shimo.zhiyinlou.com">Strong personal background in math competitions (AMC / AIME / national or regional awards)</li> <li class="">Super passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development.</li> <li class="">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li class="">Highly responsible and love to get along with kids</li> <li class="">Can commit to at least one whole semester of teaching (Spring semester: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug; Fall semester: Aug - Dec)</li> <li class="">Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends</li> </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li class="">Enjoy benefits such has medical insurance and 401k</li> <li class="">Gain hands on experience in an education driven environment</li> <li class="">Potential for future full-time employment opportunities based on performance</li> </ul> <hr> Think Academy's Commitment to DEI Think Academy is an equal opportunity employer.
