<h1>Pod Member - Product, Growth, AI & Strategy</h1> Location: Austin, TX - primarily in person Reports To: Pod Lead <h2>What Is a Pod?</h2> inKind operates through Pods: small, autonomous teams that own a business outcome from idea to impact. Pods bring together Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Growth, and commercial expertise to find opportunities, build solutions, launch quickly, and measure results. There are no traditional handoffs. The Pod owns the outcome. Examples of problems a Pod might own include: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Increasing active users, engagement, and retention</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Improving restaurant discovery and personalization</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Helping restaurant partners acquire customers and grow revenue</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Improving restaurant onboarding and activation</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Building new AI-powered experiences</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Testing new products, incentives, and growth opportunities</li> </ul> <h2>The Role</h2> This is not a traditional Product Manager role. We're looking for builders and operators who can work across Product, Engineering, Data, Growth, AI, and commercial strategy. You'll identify opportunities, get into the data, shape solutions, work directly with engineers, launch products, and determine whether they actually worked. You're not here to manage a backlog. You're here to solve important problems. <h2>What We're Looking For</h2> We want people with experience across several of these areas: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Product: Finding problems, shaping solutions, and shipping products.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">0 → 1: Taking ideas from ambiguity to launch.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Technical: Working deeply with Engineering and understanding technical tradeoffs.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Data: Using data to find opportunities, make decisions, and measure impact.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Growth: Acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and experimentation.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Commercial: Understanding revenue, ROI, unit economics, and business models.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">B2C + B2B: Understanding both consumer behavior and business/partner needs.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">AI: Using AI to prototype, automate, analyze, and build faster.</li> </ul> You don't need to be an expert in everything. But traditional PM experience alone isn't enough. <h2>What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Own a Pod objective and take responsibility for moving the metrics behind it.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Turn broad business problems into clear priorities and executable plans.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Decide what matters most and keep the Pod focused on the highest-impact work.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bring the right people together and drive decisions when there isn't an obvious answer.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Spot blockers, risks, and opportunities early—and do something about them.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Challenge assumptions and push the team toward simpler, faster solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Stay close to customers and partners to understand what actually needs solving.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Measure what happens after launch and determine what to scale, change, or stop.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Step outside your functional lane when that's what the outcome requires.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Create momentum and own the result.</li> </ul> <h2>Why inKind?</h2> You'll operate across Product, Engineering, Data, AI, Growth, B2C, B2B, and commercial strategy with unusually broad ownership.
