This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.</span></p></div><p></p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Commission a high volume of artwork by identifying freelance illustrators, providing ongoing art direction, maintaining strong partner relationships, and delivering regular status updates to the Lead Art Director and Producer.</li> <li>Apply a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of artistic fundamentals to source and deliver high-quality artwork aligned with Dungeons &amp; Dragons publishing schedules and brand standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with department leaders and participate in brainstorms focused on future Dungeons &amp; Dragons creative initiatives and workflow/process improvements.</li> <li>Present updates to leadership by showcasing work and clearly contextualizing it within the broader visual strategy.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>2+ yrs commercial art experience.</li> <li>A portfolio demonstrating strong creative vision with a cinematic lens.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and capable of giving and receiving feedback.</li> <li>High attention to detail and organization skills</li> <li>Deep knowledge of current fantasy illustration market/talent and modern print/press techniques and processes. Have an interest in discovering diverse, emerging artists</li> <li>Adept in Adobe Photoshop, proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Familiarity with accessibility standards in publishing or interactive storytelling.</li> <li>Knowledge of D&amp;D’s tone, audience, and content structure, or similar genre entertainment brands.</li> <li>Comfortable working across print, digital, and marketing platforms as needed.</li> <li>Love for entertainment, other TTRPG brands, and exploring new avenues in traditional graphic design practices.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 16px;" data-teams="true">The pay transparency range for this role is listed below.
