This includes managing events from concept through completion while ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and budgets.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan, manage, and execute a wide range of corporate events including annual meetings, grand openings, investor events, trade shows, and community engagement initiatives</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event goals, budgets, and success metrics</li> <li>Identify and secure venues, vendors, and necessary permits to support event execution</li> <li>Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness</li> <li>Coordinate logistics including catering, audiovisual needs, entertainment, and guest experience</li> <li>Oversee invitation management, attendee tracking, and event communications</li> <li>Ensure seamless on-site execution and troubleshoot issues in real time</li> <li>Provide post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership</li> <li>Maintain and manage the company-wide events calendar</li> <li>Support brand promotion and marketing efforts tied to events</li> <li>Event technology platform management (i.e. digital invitations, RSVP management, event applications, etc.)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our Ideal Candidate for this Role</strong></p> <p><strong>Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning, corporate events, or related field</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors</li> <li>Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and logistics with precision</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Technical savvy with event management software platforms.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p> <p>This role is essential in elevating Thompson Thrift’s brand presence and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders through thoughtfully executed events.
